Luc Michel studied at the French Conservatoire National de Région in Nancy, where he was awarded First Prize for musical theory and First Prize for his interpretation of chamber music and for piano. He continued studying under the maestro Jean François HEISSER.
Luc has always had a passion for chamber music. He has been presented with a special award for his work on violin-piano duets and has performed at many concerts with the violinist Constantin Bobesco, soloist at the Orchestre National de France.
He first began to study interpretation of the Tango after meeting José Luis Barreto and the bandoneonist Lothar Hensel.
Luc Michel has also performed as a soloist in France and overseas, including Hungary, Poland, Greece, Canada, etc., giving recitals and playing the most famous concertos in the piano repertoire.
