Ludovic
Michel began studying at the Conservatoire National de Région in
Nancy where the jury unanimously awarded him First Prize for his interpretation
of chamber music in 1986, First Prize for guitar and First Prize for viola
in 1988.
He continued studying the guitar, the viola and chamber music under many
maestros including F. Benattar, J.F. Schmidlet, J.B. Brunier, D. Walter
and M. Bourgue, as well as studying composition (harmony, analysis and
counterpoint).
He then continued working with Alexandre Lagoya at the Conservatoire National
Supérieur de Musique in Paris where the jury awarded him First
Prize for guitar in 1993.
Ludovic has performed as a violist with the most well-known French orchestras:
invited to numerous festivals and prestigious concert halls, Ludovic has
performed more than a thousand concerts.
In
addition, Ludovic has played solo guitar and performed in France and overseas.
He founded the "Sinfonietta de Lorraine" Chamber Orchestra and
the Tanguísimo Orchestra and teaches
guitar at the Conservatoire National in Paris.
